UNITED ARAB EMIRATES HAS LIFTED IT’S VISA BAN ON NIGERIA                                                                        10-09-23                                                                                          By Sadiq Aminu                                          The United Arab Emirates has lifted its visa ban on Nigerians.

This was part of the results of a meeting between President Tinubu and President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi.

By this, Etihad Airlines and Emirates Airlines are to resume flight schedules into and out of Nigeria immediately.

As negotiated between the two leaders, the immediate restoration of flight activities does not involve any immediate payment by the Nigerian Government.

Investment arms of the Government of the United Arab Emirates has also to deploy several billions of dollars worth of new investments into the Nigerian economy across multiple sectors, including defense, and agriculture.

Similarly, President Tinubu has negotiated a joint, new foreign exchange liquidity programme between the two governments, which will be announced in detail in the coming weeks.

He commended the UAE President, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his friendship and his determined effort to join hands with him to fully normalise and reset to excellence, the standard of relations between the two countries.
