              By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 The Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, has lauded the exceptional leadership and advocacy efforts of the Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education, Dr. Muhammad Idris, in taking children off the streets.

During a visit to the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja, Professor Mamman explained that the initiative of engaging key stakeholders to support the Campaign, demonstrated his commitment to collaborative solutions.

He reiterated the present administration’s dedication to transforming the almajiri education system and ensuring millions of Nigerian children have access to quality education.

The Minister emphasized the President’s concern for the welfare of almajiri and out-of-school children and pledged the administration’s commitment to addressing this critical issue.

The Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education, Dr. Muhammad Idris expressed gratitude for the Minister’s guidance and accessibility in carrying out the Mandate of the Commission.
“The Minister has always been a source of support and encouragement,” Dr. Idris said.
