SPEAKER CONDOLES FAMILIES OF SLAIN VICE PRINCIPAL, GATE MAN; DONATES ₦30M

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas, visited Kebbi State to commiserate with the government and families affected by the abduction of 25 schoolgirls and the killing of a vice principal and a gate man.

He announced a ₦30 million donation, ₦20 million for the family of the late Vice Principal, Malam Hassan Makuku, and ₦10 million for the family of the slain gate man. The Speaker also urged the governor to rename the school after Makuku, honouring his bravery and integrity.

Governor Nasir Idris appreciated the gesture and reaffirmed the state’s commitment to securing the release of the abducted students.
