INVESTING HEAVILY IN EDUCATION OF CHILDREN IS A WAY OF BUILDING A PROSPEROUS NATION                                                                                       13-11-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                   The Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, Mr Sunny Echono gave the charge at a spelling bee competition for schools in the Federal Capital Territory put together by a non governmental organization, Nessa Care Foundation.

Mr. Echono emphasized that all great nation’s are built by young people who imbibe sound innate qualities.

A leadership expert and President Guardians of the Nation International GOTNI, Dr. Linus Okorie who spoke in thesame vein, stressed the need for critical thinking amongst young Nigerians.

The founder of Nessa Care Foundation, the non governmental organization that put the competition together, Miss Vanessa Ogenyi said her passion to see young children excell drove her into the venture.

Over three hundred pupils from private and public schools across the federal Capital Territory participated in the competition where the outstanding ones were rewarded with cash gifts.
