JIGAWA STATE ESTABLISHES A 10 MEMBER COMMITTEE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW MINIMUM WAGE IN THE STATE                                                                                      08-08-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 Jigawa State Government says it has established a 10 member committee for the implementation of new minimum wage in the state.

The State Commissioner of Information, youth, sports and Culture Alhaji Sagir Musa Ahmed disclosed this to newsmen shortly after the state executive Council meeting held at government house Dutse, the state capital.

According to him, the Head of Service will serve as Chairman of the committee.

Alhaji Sagir Musa Ahmed said, other members of the committee include commissioners of Justice, Finance, Budget, Local Government, Basic Education and Commissioner of health.

Other members also include Commissioner of Information, Special Adviser Salary & Pension and PPS to the Governor will serve as Secretary of the committee.
