NATASHA RETURNS: SENATE UNSEALS OFFICE

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Senate has reopened Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s office, restoring her access to the National Assembly. This follows a court ruling that declared her six-month suspension unconstitutional.

With the decision, the Kogi Central lawmaker can now resume her legislative duties.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly’s resumption has been shifted from September 23 to October 7, 2025, though committee activities will continue.
