SECOND BATCH OF 415 INTENDING PILGRIMS FROM KWARA STATE DEPART TO SAUDI ARABIA TODAY                                                                                       14-05-25

By Sadiq Aminu                                                        The second batch of 415 intending pilgrims from Kwara State have departed for Saudi Arabia to perform the holy pilgrimage of Hajj 2025.

Addressing the intending pilgrims before their departure, the State Amirul-Hajj, Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Yahaya- Alebiosu advised them to be good ambassadors of the State while in Saudi Arabia.

Oba Yahaya- Alebiosu said the state government has put in place various measures to ensure comfort and safety of the pilgrims during their journey at the holly land.

The Special Adviser to Kwara state governor on Religion (Islamic Affairs), Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-Maigoro led the second batch of 415 intending pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Intending Pilgrims were airlifted onboard Max Airline from Babatunde Idi-Agbon International Airport, Ilorin.

A total number of 975 intending pilgrims from Kwara state have so far being airlifted to Saudi Arabia.
