POLICE OPERATIVES OF IN ANAMBRA STATE HAVE ARRESTED 6 PERSONS IN A FOILED CULT INITIATION IN THE AREA                                                              17-06-25

By Sadiq Aminu.                                                       In a statement,the Police Public Relations Officer of the command, Mr Tochukwu Ikenga, said,the suspects were arrested during a raid in Nawfia,Njikoka local government area of the state.

He explained that the Operatives acting on intelligence-driven information arrested them at the location.

The Police Image Maker pointed out that the Operatives recovered one pump action gun, two live cartridges, one golden coloured Lexus SUV with registration number ATN 202 AE, two cutlasses and two scissors.

Other things recovered included, one cap with inscription of the Supreme Vikings confraternity, some charms, hard substance and other incriminating items.

The PPRO gave the names of the suspects as, Nwadike Chibuike, Precious Anierobi,Raphael Ebube, Benjamin Ezechi, Chidera Okafor, and Chiema Okoye,all males.

He stated that they were currently undergoing Police interrogation to get more insight into their modus operandi, after which they would be arraign in Court.

Mr Ikenga said the Command while noting the connection between cultism and other serious crimes, remained committed to actively bringing them to a stop in the state.
