BRITISH GOVERNMENT PLEDGES COMMITMENT TO HELP TACKLE INSECURITY                                                                                                           27-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                          The British Government has express its unalloyed support for Nigeria in combating all security challenges confronting the country for national growth.

The commitment was reachoed by the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Richard Montgomery when he paid a courtesy visit to the Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang at the Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos

The British High Commissioner, Richard Montgomery who described as unacceptable the level of insecurity in the country, however expressed confidence in the ability of the present administration in ensuring that such ugly incidences are tackled headon.

The High commissioner also disclosed the signing of a renewed investment prospect with the Federal Government and pledged to collaborate with Plateau State Government towards improving agricultural production for the prosperity of the people.

Responding Plateau state Governor Caleb Mutfwang noted that Nigeria has a historical bilateral relationship with the British Government, hence assured of the state readiness to partner them for the attainment of peace.

He also solicited for collaboration in the education sector and pledged for a robust and continuous relationship.
