EASTER: NACA RECOMMITS TO COMBATING HIV/AIDS                                                                                       30-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) says it is committed to combating HIV/AIDS and promoting the well-being of all Nigerians.

The Director General of NACA, Dr. Temitope Ilori, in a message emphasizes that Easter is a time of reflection, renewal, and hope, symbolising the triumph of light over darkness and of love over despair.

Dr Ilori says in confronting the challenges posed by the HIV epidemic, the spirit of Easter inspires the agency to remain resolute in its commitment to overcoming obstacles and building a brighter future for all Nigerians.

She says the occasion, which teaches virtues such as compassion, unity and resilience, resonates deeply with NACA’s mission to fight against HIV/AIDS.

While wishing Christians a happy celebration, the NACA DG prays the season brings comfort and strength to those affected by HIV/AIDS, and for the collective efforts against the disease to continue to bring hope and progress.
