By Sadiq Aminu                                                                The House of Representatives is set to investigate the procurement process of the Lagos Calabar coastal high way.
This was sequel to a motion of urgent Public Importance by a member representing Gwer East Gwer West Federal Constituency of Benue State, Mr. Austine Achado.
Moving the Motion, Mr Achado, noted that the Procurement Process for the award of the contract contradict Procurement Act.
According to Mr. Achado, the contract did not get the approval of the National Assembly in line with extant laws.
Adopting the motion, the House referred the matter to its committees on Procurement and Works for further legislative action.
