NDLEA DESTROYS OVER 12 TONNES OF ILLICIT DRUGS IN KANO

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has destroyed over 12.2 tonnes of illicit drugs seized during operations across Kano State and at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.
The Kano Strategic Command said the exercise is part of its War Against Drug Abuse campaign aimed at preventing illicit drugs from returning to circulation.
The agency said the drugs were recovered through intelligence-led operations targeting drug trafficking networks, adding that it remains committed to enforcement, prosecution and efforts to curb drug abuse.
