EXPERTS URGED TO DRIVE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT IN KANO                                                                                                              22-07-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                  A university Don Dr. Sa’idu Ahmad Dukawa, a political scientist at Bayero University, has called on experts, particularly engineers, to think innovatively and drive modern technological advancements to boost industrial development in Kano.

Speaking at a public awareness conference organized by the National Association of Professionals in Kano, Dr. Dukawa emphasized the need for government and public support for creative individuals with modern tools and mentorship for youth to foster self-reliance.

He noted that effective utlization of modern technology is key to societal development.

Engineer Rabi’u Haruna, head of the National Association of Professionals in Kano Zone, stated that the meeting aimed to bring together experts to drive change and progress in Kano state.

” The aim of this important meeting was to bring professionals together and exchange ideas on how to move the sector forward”

Engineer Mustapha Balarabe Shehu, head of the International Association of Engineers, expressed his readiness to contribute to the advancement of Kano and the nation.

Kano State Commissioner for Works and Housing, Engineer Marwan Ahmad Aminu, attended the meeting and pledged to work with the group to bring progress to the state government.
