SENATOR SAHABI YA’U CALLS ON CITIZENS TO EMBRACE DIALOGUE INSTEAD OF RESORTING TO PROTESTS                                                                                                           29-07-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                                 Senator Sahabi Alhaji Ya’u, representing the Zamfara North Senatorial District, has called on citizens to embrace dialogue as a means of resolving grievances instead of resorting to protests.

The Senator made this appeal during a flag-off ceremony for the distribution of 2,400 bags of fertilizer and other agrochemicals, provided free of charge to farmers in the senatorial district.

Addressing the gathering, Senator Sahabi emphasized the federal government’s commitment to alleviating the economic hardships currently faced by Nigerians. He assured that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is dedicated to ensuring the welfare of all citizens and fostering economic development.

“Despite the present challenges, I urge everyone to remain patient as brighter days are on the horizon,” Senator Sahabi stated, acknowledging the difficulties faced by the masses.

Highlighting the crucial role of youth in community development, the Senator announced the approval of a Fifty Million Naira (N50,000,000.00) disbursement to one hundred youths from the district’s four local government areas that includes Kaura Namoda, Birnin Magaji, Zurmi, and Shinkafi.

He encouraged the beneficiaries to use the funds wisely, whether for educational pursuits, business ventures, or other positive endeavors.
