OSUN STATE POLICE RE-DEFINED SECURITY ARCHITECTURE AHEAD OF EID-EL KABIR CELEBRATION 04-05-25
By Sadiq Aminu The Osun State Police Command says adequate security mechanisms had been been put in place to ensure safety of lives and property of the citizens before, during and after the EId – el Kabir celebration.
The State commissioner of police CP Muhammad Abbah disclosed this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Osogbo, through the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi.
CP Abbah urged the people of the State to be security conscious and comport themselves in accordance with the provision of the law.
He also stressed the need for Residents of the State to celebrate the upcoming Eid-El Kabir peacefully and avoid acts that would jeopardize the relative peace being enjoyed in the state as the Police would decisively deal with anyone found wanting in this regard.
The Statement states “The Osun State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that, the Command has emplaced adequate security arrangements to ensure that this year’s EID-EL KABIR is celebrated peacefully.”
CP Abbah appealed to members of the public to report any suspicious movement, give prompt and useful information to the Police in case of any infraction of the law.
