A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Bologi Ibrahim, governor Bago reiterated this commitment after being awarded for his outstanding leadership and commitment to agriculture, food security, and infrastructural development in Niger State by the Voice of Africa, VOA, Canada Torchbearer Award.
According to Governor Bago, Under his leadership, Niger State has witnessed transformative changes in agriculture, enhancing food security and empowering local communities.
He pointed out that his administration initiated vital infrastructure projects that improve connectivity and boost economic prospects in Niger State.
Governor Bago while expressing gratitude for the recognition, emphasized his administration’s commitment to partnering with national and international stakeholders to promote food security and economic opportunities in Niger State.
The VOA Canada Torchbearer Award recognizes individuals and organizations making significant contributions to Black communities worldwide.
