EDO STATE GOVERNOR SWEARS IN FIVE MEMBERS OF EDO STATE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION AT THE GOVERNMENT HOUSE BENIN CITY 15-10-24
By Sadiq Aminu Edo state Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki has performed the Swearing in ceremony of five members of Edo State Civil Service Commission at the Exco chambers in Government House Benin city.
Governor Obaseki while performing the ceremony charged them to institute a professional approach to the way civil and public service was run in the state.
He stated that the civil service commission was designed as a human resource agency of Government, hence they should remain neutral and apolitical.
Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Mrs Ighodala Aluyi while responding on behalf of the newly inaugurated members of the Commision thanked the Governor for the opportunity to serve the people of the state.
Mrs Aluyi assured that she and her team would ensure that the Governor’s reforms in the public and civil service would continue to impact positively to the Civil and public service.
Those sworn in are Mrs Ighodala Aluyi, as Chairman; Mrs Ehi Obaseki, member; Mr Gilbert Adegboyega, member; Mrs Julie Olatunji, and Margaret Ohiowele, as members.
