By Sadiq Aminu                                                                The Independent National Electoral Commission Inec says the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC and Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences ICPC have deployed personnel across the 18 local government areas to curb vote buying and other financial inducement in tomorrow’s governorship election in Ondo state.

THE Ondo state Resident Electoral Commissioner REC Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola who stated this while speaking with Newsmen at the Inec office in Akure said over Thirty Thousand security officers have also been deployed to ensure smooth conduct of the election.

According to the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Inec deployed Four Thousand and Two Bimodal Voter Accreditation Systems and 812 on reservation to address emergencies

She maintained that the commission had embarked on aggressive voter education across all the political wards in the state to enable eligible voters exercise their franchise.

Also speaking, The Director Welfare of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC Mr Ayodele Omotade said Two thousand Three Hundred Corps Members have been adequately trained on rules and regulations guiding election conduct .

Correspondent Kayode Oyedare reports that security has been beefed up around Ondo State Inec headquarters Alagbaka in Akure while the security personnel are conducting thorough check on vehicles and individuals to gain access to the area.
