Gov. Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has approved the appointment of Hamisu Gumel as his Chief Press Secretary.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Bala Ibrahim, made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Dutse.
He added that Mr Muhammad Salisu has been appointed Special Assistant to the governor on Photography and Publication.
Others are Mr Garba Hadejia and Umar Suleiman as Special Assistants, New Media.
The SSG said all the appointments are with immediate effect.
