The Kwara State Government is set to inaugurate 2,000 forest guards to strengthen security across the state and curb criminal activities in forested areas.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq disclosed this at the 60th Annual Conference and inauguration of the Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari Skills Acquisition Hub organized by the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union in Ilorin. He said the initiative is aimed at preventing criminal infiltration and improving overall safety.
