GOMBE PILGRIMS BEGIN MEDICAL SCREENING FOR 2026 HAJJ

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced medical screening for intending pilgrims ahead of the 2026 Hajj.

The exercise, taking place at the Gombe State Specialist Hospital, is mandatory and aimed at ensuring pilgrims are medically fit before traveling to Saudi Arabia.

Officials say the screening will help safeguard the health of Gombe pilgrims throughout the 2026 Hajj.
