The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has disbursed ₦1.33 billion to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The funds cover 6,308 eligible students who met the requirements under the student loan programme. NELFUND said the beneficiary list was compiled from verified data submitted by the university.

With the disbursement completed, affected students are expected to register and access classes without delay. The Fund reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and student welfare, assuring that approved loans are released promptly and applied appropriately.
