FFS URGES FIRE SAFETY IN HOMES AND MARKETS

By: Safiya Abdulrahim Dabban

The Federal Fire Service has advised Nigerians to install and learn how to use fire extinguishers in homes, markets, and business premises.

Speaking through Assistant Comptroller General Umar Faruk-Muhammad, the Service sympathised with victims of recent fire incidents and confirmed that officers responded promptly to control the outbreaks.

The FFS stressed that proper awareness and early action can prevent loss of lives and property, adding that continued engagement with market leaders will strengthen fire safety compliance.
