Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has approved ₦63.65 million to pay the registration fees of 67 Kebbi indigenes studying at the Nigerian Law School for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The state Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General, Professor Junaidu Bello Marshal, SAN, disclosed this in a statement issued in Birnin Kebbi.
Each beneficiary will receive ₦950,000 to cover the registration fee. The government said the gesture is aimed at supporting students pursuing legal education and ensuring financial challenges do not disrupt their professional training.
Professor Marshal thanked Governor Idris for his continued support for Kebbi law students, saying the payment would ease their financial burden and allow them to concentrate on their studies.
The Kebbi State Government had also funded tuition and registration fees for its indigenes at the Nigerian Law School in 2024 and 2025.
