KANO GOVERNOR NOMINATES SPOKESPERSON, BOLARABE GANI AS COMMISSIONERS

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has nominated his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, and Balarabe Sa’idu Gani for appointment as commissioners.
Their names were forwarded to the Kano State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The Speaker of the House, Jibril Isma’il Falgore, announced the nominations during plenary after reading a letter from the governor.
He said the nominees would appear for screening on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 10 a.m., in line with constitutional provisions.
The development comes after the Assembly recently screened and confirmed six commissioner nominees.
