OPHD TROOPS DISPERS BANDITS IN TSAFE TOWN, ZAMFARA STATE, RESCUING 10 KIDNAPPED VICTIMS                                                                    12-03-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                     The Joint Task Force Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) troops displayed courage and dedication by dispersing bandits in Tsafe town, Zamfara State, rescuing 10 kidnapped victims.

According to Lieutenant Suleiman Omale, the Information Officer of OPHD, responding to a distress call on March 12, 2024, the troops engaged in a fierce gun battle with the bandits, forcing them to flee and leaving behind the captives.

Through subsequent patrols, all 10 victims were successfully rescued and reunited with their families, earning praise from Major General GM Mutkut, the General Officer Commanding 8 Division, Sokoto.

The operation highlights OPHD’s commitment to restoring peace and security in Zamfara State.
