587 POLICE RECRUITS UNDERGO TRAINING IN KWARA STATE                                                                                                                       29-08-24

By Sadiq Aminu                                                              At least five hundred and seventy-eight (578) new recruits are to undergo six months training at the police training school in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The State Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya stated this during the inauguration of new police recruits training exercise in Ilorin.

He said only people with integrity and discipline would be recruited into the service.

Olaiya charged the trainees to remain obedient and abide by the rules and regulations of the training school.

He advised them to fully concentrate on their training and shun ethno-religious sentiments.

Olaiya explained that the new recruits were selected based on merit , adding that the command would ensure sanity in the system.

For his part the Commandant of the police training school Ilorin, ACP Adamu Danjuma cautioned the new recruits to maintained high level of discipline during and after the training.

He advised the new recruits to maintain both personal and environmental hygiene.
