GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO SYMPATHIZES WITH NIGER STATE CORRESPONDENTS CHAPEL OVER THE LOSS OF ITS MEMBER, MATTHEW JWUANTU OF STANDARD NEWSPAPER
Niger State Governor, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago has commiserated with the Niger State Correspondents Chapel over the death of its member, Matthew Jwuantu.
The Governor in a condolence message, by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the death of the Journalist as painful and sorrowful.
He also extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, and the Nigeria Union of Journalists Niger State Council.
Governor Umaru Bago prayed God to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest and comfort his family, professional colleagues and close associates.
Late Matthew Jwuantu
was the Niger state correspondent of a Jos based newspaper; “Standard”.
He has been carrying out his journalistic duties in the state for over ten years now.
