GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO PLEDGES IMPROVED SYNERGY WITH SECURITY AGENCIES

 Niger State Governor Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago has re-affirmed his administration’s commitment to a more collaborative effort with security agencies to effectively tackle security challenges across the State.
Governor Bago stated this when he received the Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi at the Niger State Lodge, Abuja.
He said he is determined to reach out to all security outfits to ensure security of lives and property as well as peace are maintained in the State.
The Governor appreciated the strides of the NSCDC  in the State and that Government will continue to provide enabling environment for them to operate.
The Commandant General, NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi said he was at the State Government Lodge to appreciate the efforts of Governor Bago in supporting the Command and restated the Command’s continued zeal in working in synergy with other security agencies in the fight against banditry, kidnapping, cattle rustling and other twenty first centuary crimes.
He said the Command will do its best in carrying out operations in curtailing security threats in the state.
Dr. Abubakar Audi used the forum to symphatize with the Governor over the recent tragic incident which claimed lives and property of some security operatives in the State.
