MINISTER OF MARINE AND BLUE ECONOMY, ADEGBOYEGA OYETOLA RESUMES.

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Governor of Osun State,Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has assumed duties at the Ministry of Transportation with a pledge to tap the vast resources embedded in the countrys oceans and seas.
Mr.Oyetola who emphasised that the nations water bodies possess great wealth for the country promised to synergise with the parastatals in charge of the various marine agencies to achieve growth.

Mr.Oyetola also promised to use his expertise as a private sector player to collaborate with the private sector to change the narrative of the private sector.

Earlier,the permanent secretary,Dr.Magdalene Ajani welcomed the Minister and said with a new Minister in charge of the nations maritime industry, already existing initiatives would be better supervised.

The Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy is one of the new ministries created by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubus administration with Me. Adegboyega Oyetola as it’s first Minister.
