MISLEADING MINNA:BANDIT NOT A GOVERNOR IN NIGER STATE…………..

The Niger State Police Command has descrbed as false and misleading a publication circulating on social media that a notorious bandits declared self as Governor of Niger state.

In a statement in Minna Police Public Relations Officer DSP Wasiu Abiodun maintained that there is no iota of truth on the matter  stressing that this can only exists in the figment of imagination of the author.

According to him Joint security teams in Niger  state in collaboration with the State Government are working assiduously to address the security challenges at hand, while tactical teams are placed at strategic locations within the volatile areas for security coverage.

He however advised members of the public to ignore such publication, as it is an attempt by mischief makers to cause panic through propaganda.

DSP Wasiu Abiodun also admonished Journalists as respected members of fourth estate of the realms to desist from peddling such propaganda through their various platforms.
