Mr Adepoju who was represented by the Director, Planning and Development of NIPOST, Dr Thomas Gaga said the Philately industry which has defined the unique identity of Nigeria over the last century had been part of Nigeria’s global cultural and historical trajectory.

Mr Adepoju said the Pan-African Postal Union, PAPU which had been instrumental and supportive to grassroots development in Nigeria is considered a strategic partner of the Federal Government in consonance with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Bola Tinubu led administration.

The Chairman of the Philately Club of Nigeria, Abuja, Mr Abu Usman said the philately industry is worth billions of dollars in the global space and was fast developing with philately clubs springing up in various parts of the country.
