KWARA GOVERNOR SWEARS IN COMMISSIONERS, PERMANENT SECRETARIES                                              04-09-23                                                        By: Sadiq Aminu                                                                                                               Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq has sworn-in members of the State Executive Council and Seven Permanent Secretaries with the charge for them to be team players in servicing the state.

The Executive Council which constitutes the Governor’s cabinet comprises the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, and Eighteen Commissioners.

Inaugurating the members, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq enjoined them to see their appointment as a call to serve the state and the people.

The Kwara State Governor, who congratulated the new Commissioners, stressed the need for them to be committed and dedicated to their primary assignment and as well, as uphold the principles of fairness, justice and equity in the discharge of their duties.

He reassured them and the people of Kwara state of his administration’s commitment to implementing programmes and policies that would have positive impact on the people.

In a remark, the newly sworn-in Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Aliyu Kura-Sabi, thanked the Governor for the confidence reposed in them and assured him of their readiness to contribute their quota to the overall development of the state and the general wellbeing of the people.

Highlights of the event ware also the formal swearing-in of Seven new Permanent Secretaries, a Permanent Member, Kwara State Civil Service Commission and assigning of portfolios to all the commissioners.
