GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO FELICITATES APC VICTORIES AT PEPC & NASS TRIBUNAL
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has congratulated the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) on its victory at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC).
Governor Umaru Bago in a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, extended his happiness over the judgement delivered.
He described the over 10 hours verdict of the five-man panel of the PEPC, led by Justice Haruna Tsammani held in Abuja, as sound and unprecedented.
The Governor said it is not only a victory for the APC but for Democracy in Nigeria and other African Nations.
He however appealed to President Bola Anmed Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shetima to be magnanimous in victory, and remain focused on actualising the “Renewed Hope” agender of the present administration.
According to him, “Congratulations to our great party, the APC. It is now time for more service to the people without distractions because Nigerians deserve good governance”.
The Governor equally felicitated the victory of the lawmaker representing Niger East, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, and Member representing Bosso, Paikoro Federal constituency, Yusuf Barade Kure as the National Assembly Elections Petition Tribunal upheld their elections in a separate judgment delivered in Minna.
He also recognized the victory of the Niger North legislator, Senator Abubakar Sani Bello whose election was upheld at the  Tribunal recently.
The Governor called on them not to discriminate against anyone in their constituencies but to carry everyone along irrespective of party or religious affiliations.
