VICE PRESIDENT SHETTIMA ARRIVES MAIDUGURI, INAUGURATES LEGACY PROJECTS                                                                09-09-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                   Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived Maiduguri, the Borno state capital Friday evening on a two-day working vist.

On arrival at the Airforce Base, Senator Shettima immediately proceeded to inaugurate projects executed by Borno state Governor Babagana Zulum within 100 days of his second term.

Some of the Projects inaugurated are Shuwari 2 Community school and Shuwari 2 Primary healthcare center, Alikaramti community school and Gamboru Liberty day secondary school.

The Vice President also paid homage on the Shehu of Borno,  Alhaji Abubakar Garbai Elkanemi at his palace.

Senator Kashim Shettima will continue his engagement on Saturday with Ground-breaking ceremony of Jere bowl road network and launch the North East Development Commission NEDC palliative programme for the six states of the region.

The Vice President is also expected to attend the first North East Governors forum meeting for the year 2023.
