GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO KOGI STATE DISTRIBUTE PALLIATIVES ON THURSDAY                                                                                                           21-09-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                          1. The Kogi State Government wishes to inform the general public that it will share palliatives to citizens to cushion the effects of the fuel subsidy removal. The distribution shall take place on Thursday 21st September, 2023 at the ultra modern Mohammadu Buhari Square by 10am.

2. It is instructive to note that the palliatives are for all Kogites, irrespective of political, ethnic or religious affiliations in line with the intent of the Federal Government and the policy direction of the Kogi State Government under the administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello who is Governor of all.

3. We wish to profoundly appreciate the Federal Government under the leadership of our dear President, HE Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, who deemed it fit to ameliorate the temporary hardship occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy. The State Government has also added its own share to achieve the humanitarian aim of Mr President.

4. We urge leaders across the board to ensure that all Kogites are carried along in the distribution of the palliatives. This is sacrosanct.

Kingsley Femi Fanwo
Hon. Commissioner for Information and Communications
