WE WILL RECLAIM OUR MANDATE: NNPP DEPUTY NATIONAL CHAIRMAN                                                          22-09-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                       The new Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP has vowed to reclaim it’s Governorship mandate in Kano state within the ambit of the law.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, the acting Deputy National Chairman of the party, Prince Nwaeze Onu said the party would appeal the judgment and urged NNPP members across the state to remain calm and maintain the peace.

He argued that the judgement of the Kano state election petition tribunal could not stand the test of natural justice and fair play.

While expressing optimism that the NNPP would get justice in the appeal, Prince Onu called on the judiciary to remain impartial to save the nation’s democracy.

The Kano state election petition tribunal on Wednesday voided the election of Governor Abba Yusuf of the NNPP due to over voting.
