By Sadiq Aminu                                                       Military operatives crushed bandits in Kayan Boggo village in Bukkuyum local government area and rescued fifteen kidnap victims.

The feat was recorded when the joint task force troops of Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) acted on an intelligence report about the abduction of an unspecified number of innocent persons from the kayan Boggo village.

A reliable source within the military said the troops mobilized and established a blocking position at a possible exit route of the suspects.

According to the source, gun duel ensued forcing the Bandits to flee and abandoned the 15 victims while scores of the bandits were killed

The freed abductees were handed over to the district head of Gwashi to reunite them with their families.
