KBSG ENGAGES NIGERIA HUNTERS AND FORESTRY SECURITY SERVICE TO SECURE ELECTRICAL INSTALATIONS                                                               26-09-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                              The Kebbi State Government has engaged Nigeria Hunters and Security Service to security electrical Instalations from vandals across the state capital.

Speaking to newsmen, the State Commander of the service, Ambassador Musa Hussaini, said the service had engaged its personnel to secure electrical Installations following the recent power outgage in the state.

Ambassador Hussaini, said the service was collaborating with the vigilante, volunteers, traditional and religious leaders to secure and protect electrical Installations particularly Transformers from vandals in the state capital.

He revealed that, two of its personnel would be deployed to each transformer in the metropolis and therefore assured not to spear any vandal as if arrested would face the wrath of the law.

Addressing the personnel to be deployed to various transformers, the Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor on Power and Political Affairs, Alhaji Kabiru Giant, enjoined the personnel to be proactive while discharging their duty saying, they should be up and down to protect electrical Installations from vandals.

He warned vandals to keep off transformers and not to take advantage of the current power outtage in the state to vandalise electrical Instalations.
