ZAMFARA: FORMER GOVERNOR ABDULAZIZ YARI DONATES THE SUM OF……………….

Former governor of Zamfara State and senator representing Zamfara west senatorial district Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has donated the sum of One Million Naira Cash (N1,000,000.00) to the families of late Hamisu Danjibga who was brutally killed in Gusau.

Senator Yari who condoled the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Correspondent chapel, state council and National body of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) described the death of Danjibga as regrettable and unfortunate.

He said Danjibga’s death was painful and regrettable but that was the will of Allah which all must accept.

Abdulaziz Yari prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and give his family, colleagues and associates fortitude to bear the loss.

Responding, chairman of the correspondents chapel of the NUJ Sani Haruna Dutsinma thanked senator Yari for the condolence and the gesture, saying the Yari’s concern on journalists is applaudable.

On his part Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Zone A Abdulrazak Bello Kaura who was in attendance during the session appreciated senator Yari for the gesture done to the family of late Hamisu Danjibga and by extension to all journalists in the country.
