ARMED ROBBERS ATTACKED 3 BANKS IN OTUKPO KILLING 8 PEOPLE INCLUDING POLICEMEN ON THE SPOT                                                                               21-10-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                        A report from Benue State says suspected armed robbers yesterday (20/10/23) attacked three commercial banks in Otukpo township killing eight people including policemen on the spot.
An eye witness told Africa247 that the criminals stormed the banks at about five Pm and started shooting sporadically, killing four policemen and bank customers and thereafter cartted away large sums of money.

According to the source, the operation lasted for over one hour unchallenged, causing apprehension among the residents.

When contacted, the Public Relations Officer, Benue State Police Command,SP Sewuese Anene, confirmed the development but said she was yet to get details.
