By Sadiq Aminu                                                        The Minister of Information and National Orientation Alhaji Mohammed Idris has pledged the commitment of the current administration to deploy more recent technology in the media industry.

Alhaji Mohammed Idris stated this while declaring open AFRICAST 2023 holding in Lagos.

The Minister explained that with technology, signals and transmissions would become clearer.

He appealed to content producers and professionals to support the fight against fake news, misinformation and disinformation especially in the social media space.

The event had content producers and Manufacturers from over thirty countries of the world.
