GOVERNOR IDRIS PRESENTS OVER #250.1B FOR THE YEAR 2024 BUDGET                                                         22-11-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                   The Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has presented to the state House of Assembly the sumamente of over 250.1 billion naira for the year 2024 budget.

Presenting the budget, Governor Idris, who tagged the budget as “Budget of Infrastructural Development and People Empowerment” said of the proposed revenues, statutory allocation coming from the federation account are estimated in the sum of over 79.25 billion naira while the internally generated revenues are estimated in the sum of over 18.38 billion naira.

The Governor stated that, recurrent expenditure stands as over 90.64 billion naira with personnel cost of over 35.96 billion naira while overhead cost is over 54.67 billion naira.

He said, the capital expenditures are in the sum of over 159.49 billion naira.

Governor Idris, stated that, the budget is to meet the challenges of the people and guarantees opportunities in the face of difficulties.

Responding, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mohammed Usman Ankwai, assured a speedy passage of the budget.
