ONDO POLICE ARREST SUSPECTS IN LAST WEEK MURDER OF RETIRED TEACHER                                                                                                           23-11-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                    Report says Police in Ikare area command and Oke-Agbe divisional police formations have arrested two suspects in connection with last week murder of a retired teacher, 62 year old, Mrs Sidikat Adamolekun.

Mrs Adamolekun’s lifeless body in a pool of blood was discovered by her grandchild who alerted neighbors.

The two suspects, 18 year old Mubarak and 20 year old Rilwan reportedly scaled the building’s fence and attacked the deceased before taking away her expensive phone which was what they actually came for.

Africa 247 gathered that the assailants were tracked with the same phone they took away from the victim.

A family member of the deceased, Mrs Opeyemi Ademulegun revealed that one of the suspects, Mubarak used to assist his mother in the building who worked for the late Mrs Adamolekun as a house helper.

Meanwhile the case has been transferred to Akure with the two suspects including the mother of one of them, who was the house help.
