KNSG IS COMMITTED TO UPLIFTING STANDARDS OF LIVING THROUGH MASS WEDDING                                                                                                           04-12-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                     Kano state government (KNSG), has reiterated it’s commitment to uplift the standard and of living, among it’s citizens through mass wedding.

The director general Kano state hisbah board, Alhaji Abba Saeed Sufi, made the indication while recieving members of Al Ihsan charity foundation, in his office.

According to him, the mass wedding was initiated in 2012, during the past administration of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to assist divorcees.

He maintained that,thousands of divorcees,young men and women as well as orphans have benefitted from the mass wedding.

The director general pointed out that, furniture, food items, clothing materials, dowry and start up capital was provided to the couples by the state government.

In his remarks, leader of the delegation, Alhaji Abubakar S. Bayero pointed out that, they were at hisbah to seek for guidance and knowledge on mass wedding,as the foundation plans to marry off 100 orphans in Bauchi state.

He commended Kano state hisbah board for it’s dedication in fighting immorality, alternative dispute resolution,guidance and counselling to move the state forward.

The delegation was taken round hisbah by the director general to familiarize them with activities at the board.
