JNI INSISTS THAT JUSTICE MUST BE DONE TO INNOCENT PEOPLE OF TUDUN BIRI KILLS BY AIR STRIKE 11-12-23
By Sadiq Aminu The Jama’atu Nasril Islam JNI says it will continue to pursue with vigour and diplomatically the rights of innocent people that were killed by air strikes at the Tudun Biri of Igabi local government area of Kaduna state until justice is done to them.
The Sultan of Sokoto and Secretary General Jama’atu Nasril Islam Dr Sa’ad Abubakar the third stated this at the opening of twenty twenty three JNI Central Council Meeting holding in Minna, Niger state.
Dr Sa’ad Abubakar however maintained that though they are not looking for trouble with anybody but they want justice to be done to them and every other Nigerian and implored to members of the group and well meaning Nigerians to lend their support for the success of their crusade.
He said even though as Muslims they have taken the incident as the will of Allah but will follow it up and other problems affecting Muslims and Islam so that they became more stronger united and pursue their religious goals in peace and harmony stressing that no meaningful development could be achieved in an atmosphere of rancour and acrimony.
In his keynote address the Minister of Information and National Orientation Alh Mohammed Idris Malagi explained that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has earnestly expressed how the bombing mishap was worrying him and has directed a thorough and full pledged investigation into the incident while calling for calm as authority delightly look into the matter.
Alh Mohammed Idris further said President Tinubu has equally sent a high powered Federal Government delegation led by Vice President Kashim Shattima to commiserate with people and government of Kaduna state especially the inhabitants of Tudun Biri who were affected by the unfortunate incident.
Declaring the meeting opened Niger state Governor Mohammed Umar Bago represented by his Deputy Comrade Yakubu Garba thanked them for chosen Niger state as venue for the event and would also wants religious leaders to continue to pray for peace progress and stability of Nigeria.
The Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger state Council of Chiefs Alh Yahaya Abubakar commended the Niger state government for accepting to host and support the successful hosting of their meeting that would be rotated to states henceforth.
Both the Secretary General JNI Khalid Abubakar Chairman National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON Jalal Arabi have spoken while paper was presented by Professor Khalifa Ali Dikwa who advised that adequate steps be taken to ensure that incident of Tudun Biri be the last.
