FORMER PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI’S ASSOCIATES FELICITATE WITH HIM AS HE CLOCKS 81 YEARS                                                                 19-12-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                  As former President, Muhammadu Buhari clocked 81 years, his associates under the aegis of Buharists have extolled his sterling qualities, especially what they call his pro-people agenda and his Spartan lifestyle.

In a statement made available to journalists, a Buharist and former Director General of Voice of Nigeria Mr. Osita Okechukwu, recalled how Buhari devoted his public service to the common man.

Mr. Okechukwu recalled how Buhari raised a marshal plan to confront the challenge of food security in the country, regretting that insurgency however slowed down the drive to ensure food sufficiency.

The Buharists wished him a healthier and fruitful years ahead, stating that they recognize that his birthday was an appropriate time to recount his pro-people policies, his resistance to anti-peoples policies, even as military Head of State.

The Buharists therefore, appealed to President Bola Tinubu to continue with some of the laudable programmes of the Buhari administration particularly the Agrarian Revolution like the Green Imperative Program designed to mechanise agriculture nationwide and Anchor Borrowers Programme.
