CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION: NIGER GOVERNOR TASKS CHRISTIANS ON GENUINE LOVE                                                                                                    24-12-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                     Governor Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger state has advised Christians to show genuine love to all to enhance the much needed peace and development of Nigeria.

The Governor Dave the advice in his Christmas and New Year message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim and issued to Newsmen in Minna.

Alh Mohammed Umar Bago who prefered to be called the farmer Governor however maintained that forgiveness, humility, and genuine love to all are the hallmarks of the Christmas celebration.

According to him the Yuletide season is a period for sober reflections, to bring about positive change in society.

Alh Umar Bago while felicitating with Christians in Niger State and across the globe on Christmas celebration, the Farmer Governor urged residents of the State to continue to pray for its peace in particular, and Nigeria in general as well as be vigilant and report any suspicious individuals or activities to security agencies for prompt action.

The Governor would also wants them to keep faith with his “New Niger” policy, stressing that deliberate efforts are on towards realizing it.

He advised Nigerlites to step into the New Year with optimism and vigour, believing in God for a prosperous twenty twenty four saying that his administration will not relent in implementing policies and programmes that would better their lots.
