HAJIYA KHADIJAT SULEIMAN ENJOINS KOGITES TO EMBRACE THE VIRTUES OF LOVE, PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE
By Sadiq Aminu As Christians in kogi State join the rest of the world to celebrate Christmas, the promoter of PROGRESSIVES LIKE MINDS SUPPORT GROUP FOR ODODO HAJIYA KHADIJAT SULEIMAN called on the people of the State to embrace the virtues of peaceful coexistence and refrain from fanning the ember of disunity.
According to the leader in her message “the period of Christmas commemorates the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ who is the symbol of Christianity and the harbinger of peace, love and good tidings and there is no better way to celebrate the season than by showing love and being our brother’s keeper’’. Hajiya Khadijat urged the people of the State to ensure that all the positives of Christmas did not end with the festive period but that everyone must consciously act to keep the generosity, bonding, love, and happiness that made Christmas a special season into the people’s daily lives so that every day of their lives after Christmas would be a special day.
She urged people to be safety and security conscious, especially during the festive period by not indulging in nefarious activities and report all suspicious characters, movements, or activities to security agencies.
The leader enjoined kogites to continue to support the policies and programmes of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello designed to move the State forward.
She prayed that the incoming governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman ODODO will assume office by January, 2024 and start on a very strong and positive note.
