PLATEAU STATE GOVERNOR ENCOURAGES CHRISTIANS TO SEEK GODS INTERVENTION AT CHRISTMAS                                                          26-12-23

By Sadiq Aminu                                                    Christians have been reminded on the need to always seek the face of God in promoting their endeavors.

Plateau state governor, Caleb Mutfwang made the call at a Christmas church service at COCIN Church, Ampang West, in Mangu Local Government Area.

As Christians all over the world celebrate Christmas, many embark on journeys to various places to meet their loved ones

Governor Caleb Mutfwang before assuming office made it a duty to travel with his family to his hometown to mark the yuletide.

Addressing the congregation at the Christmas church service, Governor Caleb Mutfwang who thanked God for His faithfulness, called on believers to keep faith in God who is the creator of the world

Governor Mutfwang noted that though his heart is dampened by the attacks witnessed in the state during the season, gave assurance that the state will not succumb to the wishes of its enemies.

Earlier in a sermon, Reverend Peter Mangset lamented that Christmas celebration was becoming a challenge to the church as people use the period to display their wealth instead of focusing on its essence.

Highpoint of the visit which is his first Christmas since assuming office, was a public reception organised by the community in his honour.
